Teaching, advocating and sharing a positive message about taking care of one’s mental health is a particular passion of mine. I enjoy the opportunity to speak to families, schools, school administrators, students, church groups, health care providers, graduate students programs, colleges, parent groups, and the general public about ways to seek and improve greater mental health. Our communities and the families within them are heavy with the burdens of modern life. I have discovered that open discussions and shared experiences bring comfort and reassurance that our lives are more similar and connected than we might realize. Giving a voice to collective silent struggles illuminates a fundamental human need to not plow through life alone. I am available as a speaker to make presentations on these kinds of topics.
